Ailunce HM1 Mobile Radio is in Designing

Hello all Ailunce friends,

Ailunce Dual Band DMR Mobile Radio HM1.

Ailunce is designing the dual-band DMR mobile radio HM1.

H means Hams, M means Mobile, 1 means Generation. HM1 is Hams Mobile Radio Generation. We want to design one Mobile Radio with all the hams.

Do you want to Join us? Tell us your suggestions or ideas on Ailunce HM1. Let's design a real Amateur Mobile Radio!

All the suggestions and ideas, we will take them seriously.

The HM1 will compatible with HD1. We won't stop the HD1 updating either.

You can leave messages here, Facebook, Twitter, or email hams@ailunce.com, we will consider them when we design the appearance and functions.

PS: If you need any help about the radios, no matter about Retevis, Ailunce, or other brands, feel free to contact us. If we know, we would be glad to assist you.

Best Regard, 73s

Ailunce

Is this project dead? The announcement was two and a half years ago.

Please PLEASE focus on the firmware as a top priority. Bad firmware makes or breaks a modern radio. Outsource if you must. Hire AND RESPECT a good UX engineer. Don’t run English translations through Google Translate (translating UI is a burgeoning industry so there’s no excuse not to find a great multilingual localization person). If the firmware isn’t solid, DO NOT SHIP.

I think that you should have GPS/APRS as a standard option. Also have cross band and cross mode repeat and 50 watt output. Also a big color screen would make you guys winners in the DMR mobile industry.

Better receiver filtering. Most of the newer radios have poor receive filtering makI guess them next to useless in big cities with high RF noise like pagers etc. Possibly an AM detector for aircraft reception. Fast scanning speed, promiscuous mode, nuisance delete capability when scanning so you can block memory channels that lock on due to noise. Another vote for a remote head. Bluetooth for readily available Bluetooth devices already on the market. A ruggedized version for motorcycles or off road vehicles. Something that can get wet and dirty. Possibly the addition of LTE capability for something like Zillo or even APRS similar to the Vero VR N7500. Thanks for asking for input.

First, much improved receiver. I live in a RF saturated area, and the receiver of Chinese built mobile radios gets easily overloaded or desensitized. So much so that I can't use them. Next, cross band repeat, with true VHF+VHF, VHF+UHF, or UHF+UHF receive. Third, a remote mount head. There is just not enough room in almost all modern vehicles for a two way radio that doesn't have a remote mount head. Use commonly available RJ-45 jacks and Cat 5/Cat 6 cable instead of proprietary components. Fourth, excellent transmit and receive audio. Fifth, true USB programming. Sixth, eliminate the FM radio reception. No one uses that feature, since our vehicles have FM radios built in. Lastly, DMR and analog.

please consider to make radio to radio data communication possible. Like the Motorola DMR radios. Some operators use this function for wink emcom but Motorola radios is to expensive for most folks.

remote control through internet ...it means that radio need to have LTE module, so is possible to reach radio from everywhere, and control it.

Comment user

Remote head ability would be essential. Hide the body away and mount the head of the radio somewhere convenient. Include a GPS function like the HD1(GPS) that we can use for APRS. de VK2MPJ

if possible with a s-meter (1-9 +30 +60 db) readable on the LCD and with an RCA jack to control the PTT of an amp
