Works with the RT-29 for programming also.
The cable works great. I ordered several Retevis RT-29 radios and unlike the 2 large pin cables for Baofeng this cable is required. It is easy to attach and takes seconds to upload the programming data. It does work for the Ailunce HD1 but it also is required for the RT-29 VHF or UHF. I wish they would add this information tothe item title.
Well made programming cable
Well made programming cable specificly for the HD-1 & RT-29 radios. I had reservations that this cable might have a bogus USB/serial chip and found that this cable assembly has a genuine Prolific PL-2303TA chip ( verified with the Prolific "Chip Check" software.)
